The College is affiliated to the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Orissa and the Utkal University. Instruction is imparted in Arts, Science and Commerce subjects at Higher Secondary (+2) and Arts and Sciecne at Degree stage (+3).Computer Training Facility : The college provides computer training facilities for all the students of the college with a nominal fee. The details of the course will be available at the time of admission into the said course.E-admission : e-admission for +2 1st Year Arts, Science and Commerce courses as well as +3 1st Year Arts and Science Courses.As per the decision of the Department of Higher Education,Govt. of Odisha, e-admission to Higher Secondary (+2 1st year) and Degree classes (+3 1st year) through student Academic Management System (SAM) will be done as per the date and the programme

NOTE :-A pass student shall offer the compulsory subjects, One Pass Subject and Two elective Subjects. The Pass Subject Shall Consist of four (4) Papers of 100 marks each. Subjects with Practical Component shall have 75% theory and 25% practical. Each elective Subject shall Consists of two papers, Carrying 100 marks each and will have no practical Component.

Sociology :

Honours

An Honours Student shall offer the Compulsory Subjects, One Honours Subject and two Elective Subjects. The Hons Subject shall consist of EIGHT Papers of 100 marks each. Hons subject with practical component shall have 75%.. Theory and 25% Practical marks. Each elective subject shall consist of two papers, each carrying 100 marks and will have no practical component.

NOTE :-Students Passing the H. S. Examination with biology as one of the subject can only apply for Life Science group.

 

A students in +3 Science (pass) shall offer the Compulsory Subjects, Two Pass Subjects, each carrying 400 marks, One minor elective carrying 100 marks and One major elective Subjects carrying 200 marks with two paper. The elective Subjects shall have no practical component.

Minor elective:In +3 Science a student with life Science group shall take minor elective paper on Mathematics and Statistics for Biology student's Where as a student with Physical Science group shall take Biology for Physical science!! Student's as minor elective.

Minor elective:In +3 Science a student with life Science group shall take minor elective paper on Mathematics and Statistics for Biology student's Where as a student with Physical Science group shall take Biology for Physical science!! Student's as minor elective.

 

Major Elective - Subjects:A Student can choose anyone of the following as major elective Subject.
1. Physics    2. Chemistry    3. Mathematics

Restriction:1.  Physics (Pass) & Physics as major elective can not be offered.
2.  Chemistry (Pass) & Chemistry as major elective can not be offered.
3.  Mathematics (pass) & Mathematics as major elective can not be offered.

Note :- The Elective Subjects both minor & major shall have no practical components.
